Medals, records and lots of fun in the LDC in Lignano

From 29–30 November, 15 swimmers from ESB competed in the Long Distance Championship in Lignano, Italy, alongside over 300 athletes across nearly 950 heats. The team delivered a strong and well-earned result, collecting a total of 24 medals:

• 🥇 1 Gold

• 🥈 8 Silver

• 🥉 7 Bronze

• 5 fourth-place finishes

• 3 fifth-place finishes

ESB swimmers also set two new EFSL league records in the 100m Butterfly and 100m Breaststroke (congratulations to Sofia an Luisa!), and achieved an excellent 2nd place in the Freestyle Relay.

These results reflect the hard work and dedication of our swimmers.
