ESB Brussels Octopus​

19/01/2026 Our home meet on 18 January at LAGO Club Grimbergen marked a change in leadership for ESB Octopus. A massive thank you to Geo  for her incredible dedication as President. You’ve kept us on course and cheering loud! 👏 We are also thrilled to welcome Sergey  as he dives into his new role as President. We wish Sergey the best luck!. The swimmers and volunteers' energy at LAGO was the perfect start to this new chapter.

30/11/2025 From 29–30 November , 15 swimmers from ESB  competed in the Long Distance Championship in Lignano, Italy , alongside over 300 athletes  across nearly 950 heats . The team delivered a strong and well-earned result, collecting a total of 24 medals : 🥇 1 Gold 🥈 8 Silver 🥉 7 Bronze 5 fourth-place finishes 3 fifth-place finishes ESB swimmers also set two new EFSL league records  in the 100m Butterfly  and 100m Breaststroke (congratulations to Sofia an Luisa!) , and a

16/11/2025 Our second home meet of the season was held in Beveren, near Antwerp , a bit farther from home this time, but that didn’t stop us from welcoming a strong turnout of swimmers. The energy and enthusiasm were high, our athletes delivered excellent performances across the board, and several swimmers earned last-minute qualifications for the Long Distance Championships. As always, our volunteers ensured a perfect organization  of the event.

19/10/2025 What a weekend in Wiesbaden! Twenty-eight ESB swimmers came together for a full weekend of competition and team-building. On Saturday 18 October, our team delivered outstanding performances—earning 9 first places —during the Battle in the Bubble  organized by Wiesbaden Wahoos in the innovative air-dome swimming pool. On Sunday, swimmers kept the momentum going with fun group activities and team challenges. Huge congratulations to all swimmers for their hard work,
