First Home Meet of the Season: Notable Results for ESB Octopus

On Sunday, September 28, we had our first home meet at the brand-new, Olympic-sized swimming pool at Blocry in Louvain-La-Neuve. The state-of-the-art facility provided the perfect setting for an exciting day of competition.

ESB Octopus stood out by securing the highest number of first-place finishes (22 gold medals), showcasing the hard work and dedication of our swimmers. In addition, ten of our athletes qualified for the upcoming championships, both in short and long-distance events, across a total of 25 races.

A huge thank you to all the swimmers for their incredible performances, and to the volunteers whose hard work behind the scenes made the event run smoothly.
